I was thinking about balance—between control and surrender, between the classical and the uncertain. The figure carries echoes of sculptural tradition, of idealized proportion and quiet dignity, yet she is not fixed. Her gesture is incomplete, her movement unresolved. She exists in a pause, a held breath. The big moon, suspended and unreachable, suggests a kind of distant illumination—something desired but deferred. The flower, heavy and soft, feels closer, almost bodily. Between them, the figure becomes a point of tension, navigating forces that cannot quite be named. The symmetry of the composition might suggest order, but I am more interested in what trembles beneath it. The flowers repeat, the stars scatter, the body remains centered—but nothing fully settles. Everything is slightly displaced, as if reality has been gently tilted. If this work speaks of anything, it is of a state of becoming—of inhabiting a space where identity, desire, and memory have not yet taken form, but are quietly, persistently unfolding.
